4 Winter Thrift Items You Need

We all like to save money and winter clothes are not very #inexpensive. The best way to find really great winter clothing is thrifting. I want to go over some items to look for while thrifting.

Sweater Weather

Sweaters are the best to buy at thrift stores. Retail store sell some of the same sweats are extremely high costs, whereas a thrift store will cost you around $6 dollars. Now, when you’re looking for sweaters, go through all of the sweaters, every single one including the men's sections. You can find great knitted sweaters, solid colors basic sweaters and my personal favorite, graphic printed sweaters

Bomber Jackets

These are kind of a long shot, so really keep your eyes open for these guys. The fluffy jackets will keep you warm in the winter and they are so stylish. Puffer jackets fall under this category as well. They are still a limited item to find, but if you do it's such a great win!

Pants

Levis are your main focus. They are so durable and warm throughout the winter and again you can score a pair of #Levi’s for $10 and sometimes comes along with a great project if they are super worn out. While looking for pants, check for sweats. Sweats are a very versatile item depending on how you style them. We can do an entire post on how to style sweats.

Hoodie Season

We all know this is the main reason we go to the thrift store, aside from the T-shirts. Make sure you check for any holes and damaging of the hoodies, as I have made that mistake before. While looking for hoodies, know your personal style. If you like over-sized, I would check the men's sections and if you like a more fitted look go for the women's section or even the kids section.
