Thought of Thrift: Instagram Thrifting

I had to see for myself what the craze is about Instagram thrifting, taking your thrifted items and selling them on Instagram via Poshmark. I had no idea what was going on when I first saw this happening and I thought about joining the craze.

Thrifting from Instagram

Our savvy friends have used social media to their advantage and have made Poshmark accounts to sell their thrifted finds. I thought to myself, “How could this be a thing?” Instagram is their main platform where they post their adventures and their possible finds. Depending on the account, they may sell through Instagram or through a third party site. Low key, this is brilliant.

Just Thrift Yourself

Convenience honey! This is so convenient and that’s what makes this brilliant. With our everyday lives thrifting can be a major task. While scrolling through Instagram, your able to find those thrifted items that you want without casing an entire store for hours looking for the items you want. We spend hours a day on Instagram and being able to thrift and eliminate the searching and store-hopping.

People Behind the Craze

These are everyday people like you and I. They love thrifting (like myself) and know that convenience is sought-out everyday. They provide the clothing that we may not be able to search for and sell it on Poshmark or through Instagram directly, making life a little bit easier.
